Qustom Daytone front damper
hate em. the adjuster is super fragile and can break easily.the pair i had were not revalued correctly and had an uneven amount of pressure. besides that fact that they seemed to do no dampening at all. i ditch them and went back to indian dampers.
i've talked to countless others here who have said the same thing. i've riden on a bike using the ohlins and liked those quite a bit. they are incredibly spendy though.

Bought a set of the above dampers and one snapped in half after 75km's.....enough said!
Ohlins SD110 is what your after. I'm an Ohlins dealer so if you need any info let me know. They are a steering damper same as the Daytonas. They're just regarded as being the best and are priced accordingly - which means they are insanely expensive because you need two in this case.

Sitting down?
$700 for a pair - all they need is a bushing at one end and they fit straight on. I basically make nothing on these - that's why they've never been on the site.

Surely even the Ohlins steering damper will work in both directions (compression and rebound). Why would you want it to damp on the compression? You will only strain the mountings or break the whole damper in half. Isn't that what happend to the Qustom item?
The OE dampers compress without any resistance, but resist being stretched. This is what dampers do. Suspension dampers and steering dampers are designed to perform different functions. Don't get them mixed up.
If you want good dampers, get hold of a pair of fat Servetta ones, or investigate the new dampers from Rich Presley.
