£500 is the price of a decent crank or a kit, i think people would buy them.Ian Hepworth wrote:Still developing them. I reckon you'd probably have to do about 50 at a time to get it to £500. Lot of money to invest in one product.6LDA 28B wrote:Ian do you know how many gearboxes would have to be produced to get the price per box to £500,
There seems an interest in a quality 5 speed box has mark had many serious enquires

u will not get them made for 500 quid in the uk,
so u cant buy a new 5 speeder for 500 quid,
u may just make and sell them for about £800,made in the uk,

I was talking to Mark earlier and has been in discussions with the gearbox manufacturers. He has done his testing this year with his five speed gearbox and is very pleased, he's having some more gears made to make gear jumps even better than before............... then if enough of you put your names down, he may put them into production and under £500........ made in the UK! Or he may just keep them for himself and let us have the super sliding adjustable 4 speed close ratio box that is also under testing.
