Hi just riding back from surrey scoots. New shop worth checking out. Ran fine there then on return would only pull at full revs and was spitting out bucket loads of fuel. Gonna take a look tomorrow anyone have an idea of where to start. (don't say the carb!)
Thanx

It will be the induction side for sure. Check that the carb jets have not worked loose and the choke is seating correctly. Other than that it will probably be the reed petal directly in front of the boost port which is a simple change. When putting it back together make sure you use a clean spark plug with the correct gap and that the electronic is operating correctly (I aways recommend Italian CDI).
Popped reeds usually happen because of a mis-timed spark, what can make it worse is if you run and expansion chamber (it is to do with the blow down angle and late ignition). The remedy for expansion chambers is to lift the exhaust port by 0.8mm or so.
If it is a broken petal then when you fit a replacement set double up the reeds on the bost port side. If you are in any doubt send me a PM and I'll explain in more detail.
GT kits are frugal with fuel and return high mpg's for their state of tune and performance, "spit back" from carbs is not a common problem.
