I've just got the upgrade, and no longer have the email (as i have crap provider with a limited inbox)
Although it looks straight forward to fit I've searched the scootrs site for the fitting details just to be on the safe side, and can't find anything in the help section.
Strangely enough I've got my forks out and stripped ready to weld the bracket on, but i can't help thinking the bolt on option looks quite impressive so i'm considering that option too.
scootrs anti dive upgrade kit
is the bolt on option adustable for the angle of the tie bar or would that require a differant length tie bar?

I've not studied one close up but on the LTH one the stub on the drum link doesn't seat into the caliper mounting plate so the clamp on bracket can be moved up and down and the plate moves with it. I imagine it should be the same principle with the scootrs or you'll have no suspension at all.cezeta wrote:is the bolt on option adustable for the angle of the tie bar or would that require a differant length tie bar?
Anyone got a pic of one they fitted on their own scoot. Where does the bracket weld on to or bolt on to for that matter. I can't figure it out from the pic on the Scootrs site. If you use the weld on bracket do you need to take out your forks to do it.
Fitted 2 upgrade kits to my 2 GPs on Friday afternoon, took all of 2 hours.
They work a treat too, well chuffed!

The hard life of the home based e-worker is a terrible thing

I presume you just used the bolt on bracket.

At what point in the process do you take the payment, bearing in mind that you don't actually have stock?PeteSR wrote:we have just placed an order with ScootRS for some anti dive upgrade kits - should be with us in around a week. Available on our website http://www.scooters-rock.com/hydraulic- ... 2140-p.asp - works out cheaper than buying direct. Only 4 kits leftmarkdicko wrote:just been on scootrs site you can now order upgrade kit at a price of £95.00, kit starts of at £54 put on yer postage and had me pants pulled down.why cant you purchase this in uk most of us have one,is it me being tight or am i missin something here?
Turn On, Tune In, Cop out!
I have a pair of UNI shocks on and the bolt thingy screws touches it and pushes the upper part outwards. not sure if UNI dampers av thicker than regular. it's maybe a 4mm needed gap missing.
