Im drilling my series 3 frame to take both cables and loom. Im not sure how far back to drill the main hole for the control cables on the tube and whether to then route them over or under the engine mounts? Im running a 30 delly on that side but i think theres eneough room to take them under.
Anyone got and advice or pics?

Sef, have a look here: http://www.forums.ilambretta.com/viewto ... 40&start=0 at my old red cutdown, second post.
Where the cables go into/come out of the frame fettle the hole to allow the cables to sit flatter, if you just drill 90 degrees to the frame the cables sit at an angle and so they don't run smoothly or look good.
Hope it helps, Mark

Sef, would you like me to try and get a couple of close up shots of the frame holes? I could have a play with the pics on the computer and see if I can zoom in and keep the quality.

Yeah mark if you could that would be great. Still umming about whether to have the hole towards the loop with the control cables then running under the engine mount or to have the hole more forward in the tube (past the carb) and the cables then running over the loop? Asthecially the later looks better as there are less cables showing but im a bit worried that by drilling the tube so close to the control block the angle in will be to tight......
Did that make sense.....
