Just MY opinion.......

Just fitted a S/S tank supplied from Rich Presley. Not that it's his fault but found that the tank dimensions were not quite right for a good fit like an original tank, the threaded piece for connecting the tap was a little offset and required a run through with a drill to remove weld swarf and the tank had to be flushed and sealed to remove grit inside but.............tank did not leak and looked to be quite well made.
I don't know whether there is more than one manufacturer but personally, I would go for a well chromed original tank for fit etc............
NO IT'S NOT A F***IN* MOPED!!!!!!

The main thing to do when you get your tank from whichever dealer you decide on is to flush it out so that it gets rid of as much of the crap inside as possible then seal it using 'Pet seal' or an equivalent product.
I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
For those who don't, no explantion is possible.
