Advice is required.

Had a 5 plate clutch fitted to my TS1 225 about 300m miles ago. Its fine until I am full belt for about a mile or so then slips like hell. Once slowed down and cooled down a little it seems to work fine again, until I open it up again?

Don't know what a girl drives like, you must do though.

Don't say owt to my missus though if you see her as she's got a Honda 500! ;) and she can ride it.
I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
For those who don't, no explantion is possible.

Id say rock oil...but knowing our kid its prob cheapo... :D

Only kidding...pretty sure Rock Oil, to be fair mine does the same when it gets warm and done a few miles it just seems to lag a bit or takes time to fully release..I generally drop the revs back and let it release then wind it on..?

Thanks,

Change the oil @ 200 miles, OK no burning smell etc. When I ride it and it slips can’t smell the clutch burning. Didn’t put the plates in my self, did have the springs changed but don’t know what are in at the moment.

I sit in traffic most of the time with just the occasional shortish flat out blast

Oil is Rock Oil, I pushed the boat out and decided it was worth spending the extra £2 above the Spare’s own brand oil cost  .
