If there sold in order then yours isnt too early, ive seen kempy stamping them as they leave the shop, bought mine not many weeks after they came out and i use a 60mm crank 107 rod, [they were made to run 58mm i believe] i had a mm taken off the bottom of the barral so the rings dont snag on the inlet finger and resessed the head. if youv a 110mm rod on a 60mm crank you wouldnt have to do the barral just use the right packer.

hello there
what happend to the piston
how was it destroyed and what damage was done to the barrel
the problem is they were designed to run on a 58 crank, but some decided to use 60 this then coursed a problem with inlet finger with the ring snaging or not getting enough support
the early barrel the finger is small new ones are longer
and what piston was you useing i would only recomend the racetouer is very stronge and works well
all the best

I run mine on 57 needle and 340 main, with MB flat ram air filter stuck to side panel. Just running in, so no long trips at sustained high speed yet. Dyno tuning it this Spring, any suggestions? I'll be in the UK then. Well, nevermind, I'll take to MB as they make a nice cupa tea.
