cam lam adj power jet

can anyone tell me please how it works ? when u turn it on dos petrol come out of it all the time or dos it somehow only work when u on say full throttle ?

lol no ive bin looking at it for 4 months , if u look at the pics of the twin they hav the cam lam ones on them

chalky @ replay was showing me one he fitted last week ,nice bit of kit .
dont you get any instructions with it , have you asked your supplier about it?

normaly it works like every PJ, the lenght of the tube which stays in the ventury of the carb,
tells you at which trottle position it works ! if it stays at the middle of the carb ventury it
should work nearly by half trottle opening, but only if there ist enought low atmospheric pressure !

So cutting the lenght of the tube you can reach a different "" working range ""

sorry for being thick but how dos it know to start working at half throttle ,how dos it draw the petrol out

It's all about vacuum through the venturi which is affected by your engine and throttle positions.
Interesting this, as it may solve my problem with weak mixture whilst cruising :roll:

yes soulsurfer thats y i brought it thought i could stop my rb heating up when cruising my thinking was i know my scoot bogs down badly with choke on but i get past 50 ish it clears as its such revy kit so thought if i could get more fuel in to it when its hiting higher revs it wouldnt bog down and it keep cooler

so the shorter i cut the lengh of power jet the further i can open the throttle before it comes into play ?
