the bottom image will not work for dimensions because the drum link won't have the spot for the disc brake locating pin. i'm on the same path as you though. i'd like to do the same.

do u have the disc brake :?: i did some years ago think it was 10 sets i made for someone who was racing the bit you add i measured from an original one it wasnt perfect in size as i knew i would have to do some grinding to make it fit and chamfere it for welding i cut the locating lug of the drum link, and bolted the disc into position obviously the secont lug on the disc has no fitting at this paoint i offered up my new bit and ground it till it fitted i then put it in position and put the fixing on till it was tigh and tacked it on then i removed every thing and took the link out and checked that the link fitted the jig i had made from the original link it never fitted so i grounfd the tack of and moved the disc round abit and did it again there was about 1-2 mm differance from the first time and this time it fitted spot on to the jig i then made all the others from the jig i want ed to check everything was spot on not just the link i had but also the disk the next 9 were a piece of pish long winded but i think i charged him 100 quid and it took me 4-5 hrs this was about 18-19 yrs ago
i think i used a structoral steel maybe 43c or something like that and silver steel or a dissimilar wire to fill i did preheat the lug as well and used a thermal blanket after to cool it slowly
the jig was made buy using a flat plate and 3 bars welded to it at the 3 mounting points on the link if that makes sence
i think the important measurment is if a line were drawn between A and B through the centers and then from that line a measurment was taken to the center of C se my pic of your pic

Only measured by eye with a ruler but I make it 104 mm on the MB s/s one.

When I used to do them I used a Disc back plate as a jig, you also need to have the U part at the right hight and this is the way I did it.
