series 1 duel seat options

This is a friends bike, I think this seat suits the S1 S2 lines perfectly, it's the perfect Ancillotti repro, nice and slim and with the bulge for the airscoop. I think I'll be putting one of these or the bolt down Ancillotti (full length with fuel hole) on my S1 too.

Sorry should have read your post properly...about the viby Ancillottis. I used to have a GP seat on my S1 that was comfortable. I had the same problem as you...I'm 6' 2" and had to sit bolt upright on the scooter when I had the saddles on.

I dont suppose you have a close up photo of the handlebars? where the switch housing fits?

I've been modifying an MB one to fit my s1 handlebars and so far it just looks ugly!

I'm working at the guy's house in the next week or so. I can take a close up pic of the hydraulic mount, etc then. It'll be an MB one though I guess, as everything on this bike is MB...MB tuned TS, MB crank, Devtour, dual tanks, disk brake and so on.

Sean did a top job matching the paint for the helmet too...you can't see it from the pic, but it's like a Simpson or an 80's "scooterboy fave" Alien helmet. Looks proper smart matched to the bike.

I took one of these seats apart recently, to get the vinyl repaired, it's got psychadelic blue swirls same as D.Milnes Dyrospeed Devastator Snetterton pattern. Anyway the foam is now less than 1 inch deep on that...hardly any compression at all! But it's an old seat.

The light switch housing from a TV2 175 possibly fits the S1 bars, that has the sx/gp light switch, it's common to do it on S2 li's when swopping the kill switch for an ignition switch.
I saw all the invoices for that S1 and 99% of it was from MB, if I remember correctly the lid on the leggy toolbox has MB logos designed into it.

I've ground a bit out of the back to get it to nearly fit, but the handlebar is so much thicker than the housing. I just want to see a picture of what they can fit like before I file down the handlebar itself!

im going to fit a similar seat to the one you bought. im not sure what it is from but i like the curvs. i got the cafe racer seat but i just prefer the huckleberry fin look

It's the older MB one. They were a bit more chunky to allow to filing down to fit the S1/2 headsets.

The new ones aren't so adaptable.
