the guy that built it was called jaffa or something
Its in bits scooter club: www.facebook.com/groups/132415046859320
That was indeed me Mark yes, thanks.....and yes the guy that built it was called Jaffa, still has his "private" reg on C** JAF...He was lead engineer at Jaguar and said he'd spent 4 or 5 years building it over time. There are some really nice touches on it that he hand made, rear brake torsion set up being one of them & the Arai horn badge......mark wrote:i remember that from coventry a few years ago . it was for sale and i put someone else onto it . was that you???
He had only done around 200 miles on it when I bought it and there were quite a few niggles that needed sorting....mostly done now though but I still, after 10 months or so, need to fit me new tank so its still tankless at the moment....The biggest feck-up was that for some reason whoever fitted the fuel pipe used larger bore reducing to narrow shite which caused fuel starvation and the MBD TS seized on me which I wasn't best pleased about. I managed to replace that a few months before the TS's ran out so the TS on there now has only done around 50 miles or so, doesn't really get used due to work....
you did the right thing in keeping it mate very nice scoot

one for mine as i will be using pm double disk setup and they look better than the
