have you got the exhaust wrap on the exhaust header pipe too ?
and if so, how does that affect the performance ?
and do you remove the wrap to repaint the paint every so often ?
I've got some exhaust wrap left over from a vw, so was going to use some on the scoot, but was a bit mindful of the pipe rusting away inside the wrap...
cheers

Hi Byron,
The wrap goes all the way up to the slip joint. Can't honestly say if it does much for performance, I couldn't really notice much of a difference plus or minus when I put it on, I just like the look. I gave the pipe plenty of coats of heatproof paint before I wrapped it but I'll probably repaint and re-wrap again soon as the wrap is looking pretty tatty now after a year.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments! And Simon, It's not a bog-brush holder end can! it's a new, very highly sophisticated power-boosting performance accessory I'm currently testing

Hi Simon,
The GP is currently banished to the back of the garage in shame with a twisted crank!
it's a straightforward 225 TS1, 35mm TMX, devtour, matched casings, varitronic, Reedspeed centreplug head,
Planning to rebuild the engine this year, just deciding what to build and what I can afford, I'm supposed to be getting married this year so we'll have to see how many pennies I've got left after that!
Cheers,
Matt
