probabley 30 ish per rim for quality

but i would ask you to think on this

the polishing process is vigorous and causes great heat build up which could cause the metal properties to change
which then could cause cracking etc etc

why not go for the chrome effect powder coat now available

anyway just my take on it

London Chroming quoted me £295 + VAT to chrome 3 sets of rims and my fork chrome rim

Thats just a joke!!!! I bet it would have rusted within the year too

There's a firm in Southampton, called Trestans, who have just started doing chrome powdercoat, the same as what Aerocoat in East Anglia does. Barry, one of our local guys, had two sets of rims down for £20. Superb job. I've also had some stuff done by them. It's not chrome, but it's very very good, a fraction of the cost of chroming and it'll last a lot longer.

PM me for details.

i was having similar thoughts. my concern being the removed metal on the bends which must get thinner and may take the new style rims back to the hazard of the early ones.

dj240 had his engine done in chrome powder. it did look good.

thanks for the feedback chaps, nic im down at southampton uni in a week or so so ill check the powder coater out. thanks for the tip.
