short rear runner boards

Anyone no where i can get these for the S3 ? the rounded style in stainless steel ?

Look nice runners..bit pricey though.IMO.

I emailed him but does'nt do them in stainless at the moment !

Theres a few that do S/S but open ended ones..? Do they have to be S/S why not chrome a set from him.or tell him to start doing them in S/S he might sell a few.. :D Must admit there nice though look well finished off.

They are with out doubt the most gash looking parts i have ever brought, and iv brought a lota crap... :(

Have seen what look like a good set on ebay think theres a link to them on the thread i mentioned above. About £65 i think, bit steep but did look good in the pic. If you were going to weld them onto the leggies then id suggest cutting down an old pair as its quite a simple job for a good welder and even with labour it should work out cheaper.

Also try and check on what runners the bend has been made for otherwise you might get Vespa rally ones say, and the find that the curve of the runner doesnt match the ally runner... :(

Post some pics when/if you buy the em, would be intresting to see the quality.

I've got a set of short runners from Pete Robinson I paid approx £60 I'll take a picture tomorrow and post it on here

I used the Pete Robinson ones,I'll post a picture of them later.

I've looked thru' the last few issues of Scootering for Pete's contact details but can't find them but I'll keep looking
