Hi guys,
was talking with a mate some days ago about this option....to get more torque... but we both don't know if it works well or if it's just the wrong choice for this top end.

What do you think about it? Any experience?

thanx

Does the kit have the additonal boost port above inlet & addition hole in the inlet
side of piston below rings.

If it does ensure that the hole in piston can not be seen in the inlet as will give a problamatic
bottom end RPM and tick over.

If its made of Metal Fettle it !!

Thank you Smiffy,
maybe with a base gasket is possible to match the piston with the barrel...or am I wrong?

Do you not have a 'packer' for your barrel?
How come phonetics isn't spelt with an 'f'?

Where does this "more torque" from a 60mm crank come from? Do you mean more low down grunt. If so you'll be dissapointed. The 60mm crank will take the power further up the rev range by increasing transfer and exhaust duration. If you increase the inlet timing by lowering the port 1/2mm it'll be a little stormer . . . . but not as tractable as a standard Mugello.
