the water inlet is below the barrel
havent got any more uptodate pics yet but i can say im using an audi a4 recirculating pump thats magnetic drive so no bearing . £45 ebay .
rads are going in front of splash plate using a heater matrix of an old vauxhall duly modified into 2 rads .one of these will have a grill over it and the other will bo blocked completly on the front apart from a hi spec low amp 4" fan to force the air thru .
the thermostat is in top of barrel and of a twisty .

fan sender of an old volvo

Love it, but a little to rich for my blood, i suppose the external principles remail the same if not the head/barrel?

everthing from crank gear cog backwards is upgraded lambretta . if you can build a lammy engine you can build one of these .

yes jaimie i was but now put it in my gp ready for espania :)
the basic kit from DAC is £1500 it includes casing ,magg flange & cover ,strengthened kickstart shaft and 69.5mm crank fitted. you can source all the other stuff s/h barrels are approx £100 ,replating £120,teflon coated pistons £65 and so on . you also get a full parts list of min spec products . as i have said if you can build a good bretta engine you can build one of these .
