The race track has always been a good proving ground for race track tuned engines & new kits, but the race track is also one of the major limiting factor's of road tuned scooters.!!!

i agree jims, total pain in the ass on the road and even a race scooter isnt fast compared to most other road vehicles.

im interested to know though whos motors are at the head of the pack and what they are using. where can i find the race results anyone?

B ADspeed certainly will not be banned ,because he has an oppinion...
we of course advocate that ,and welcome all members oppinions......

and the simple FACT is ,WE AGREE with him........(to a point) In that WE are as eager as he is to see dyno results on these motors and also agree that they would be very helpfull to other folk/prospective customers etc etc......

But certain things are sometimes sadly beyond our control, which we have explained endlessly.
and folk should realise that.

Anyone that does not understand our position /or simply refuses too......,and bangs on forever, regardless, Causing us uncalled for stress/grief and trouble will be deemed by us as
a undesireable/troublesome member......
in this particular case with B ADspeed, some of you may well remember the cylinder head thing..........need i say more.
It was all in the end much unnecessary aggro for us .

in the two years of running and providing this site along with Dan,we have only banned one person, and so i,m sure you realise that its NOT something that we do on a whim.

The only intension of my "threat" to Ads was to hopefully calm him down and take a "chill pill"
as i felt that he was taking things far too far and was as i said becomming "a real pain in the ass".i,m sure that he was well aware and realised that i was only "half" serious cos otherwise he would have been PM,d and recieved the obligatory warnings ....... ;)

Adspeed does contribute some really interesting things to this site which i would like to continue............ :D
and so (if he could possibly not be such a pain in the ass sometimes) we would be happy to keep him as a member .......
is that OK with you ADAM....? :D

Nick, believe me.. race scooters are incredibly fast. I dont know what other road vehicles you mean but from that statement I think you need to see what a race bike can do. Come along next year mate and spend some time watching.

I must admit tony I along with markwh42 and red where impressed by the pace you guys put on the track at donington recently it was very eye opening as to what you can do with a sewing machine motor.. :frog: ..ralf saxelby/ charlie edmonds/and the guy with the dry clutch..sorry cant remeber your name where bloody quick..and the rest of the track be it mid or back markers where awesome as in they would leave most road going scoots in the mirror..sadly missed cadwell due to family commtiments but will be at a few next year..cheering on the lads..

Now can we all play nice again and be friends..this site IMO has a foundation of friends and friendship and banter and laughs..Ive certainly made and met some good friends since joining Scooertica and dont want that to change... :moon:
