Thanks for the spectulation, but I'd rather you hadn't spotted it.

Yes, it is an electric starter. The flywheel was an original AF lightweight item, with the starter wheel from a Piaggio Sfera machined into the face. Nice.

When I finally bolted it all together and pressed the starter button, it turned it over (just), but in the wrong direction. :o

This rates at about 11.7 on the oh-sh!t-o-meter.

I'm over it now........ :(
