WOW that takes me back to my teens when my big bro and his mates where buzzing about, love it, like it with no cans was only talking about that the other day with my brother..I still like the look, nice touch having the towbar covers on.. :smug:
Ricspeed, gone but never forgotten RIP my friend #59
Looks wicked mate, you have certainly achieved your goal of recreating an early 80s style scooter. Take the panels off it and spend the sign writing money on a chrome rear mudguard and the scooter will be a perfect recreation. Hat off to you sir this is a fantastic job.

Lovley scoot, like what you did with the rear runners, did you do them yourself? Same with the tow bar covers, where did you find them? Been looking for metal ones for ages, can only find plastic....
Also cant get a long eneogh one to fit over the longer engine mount i have on the carb side...

can't do a proper link to the covers, but if you look in their online catalogue under miscelaneous it near the bottom of the page. http://www.afrayspeed.co.uk/index-frames.html
i haven't had any problems with them melting
also try Halfords i'm sure they do them, just ask for towbar covers.
