nice power band and not so noisy as a af-clubman, but...
theres some rattling now in the exhaust box...
its a 2000 miles ridden ancillotti sito box (the exhaust type which has the stamping on the lower side).
anybody else with same experiences.. ?
rattling: sito ancillotti exhaust (sacchi type)
yes, the baffles became loose.
anybody with the same experiences ?

Baffles came loose on a AF clubman once, was told you can cut it open and weld them back in place. Was told if you move them slightly(can`t remember which way) you can improve the performance.

One of the other threads on this site talks about Siobhan Ellis and her awesome ride across Australia (www.lammiedrive.org.au). Ron, the Australian Casa dealer rode with her, and his Ancillotti exhaust basically disintegrated during the trip, seems their build quality isn't that great. So at 2000 miles, it might be at the end of it's life.

mine was very restrictive on my series 1 250,was about to change it when it got killed
you can drill and plug weld the baffle or bodge it and stick a couple of self tappers in it. there is a exhaust on scoor restorations site that shows it in bits. so you can see that its a a plate with a flange spot welded in various places. the welds just are not always good.

They are expensive but worth every penny,Ralph Saxelby`s bigbore pipes.Had one and done many thousands of miles without anything rattling loose inside and it still looked like new.

I shouldn't worry about the noise. If it's anything like mine it will fall apart long before it proves to be a problem.
