Mornin. I am thinking of getting a long range tank from Saigon scooters has anybody used these already, are they worth shipping in from there or buy one over here. Can anyone give me a rough idea of postage costs involved, reasonably priced but a hell of a long way. Cheers

Don't bother, they leak like a sieve, many on here have complained.

Cheers m8, thats the info. I'm after, can someone recommend one from here that fits the normal position for the petrol tap lever. I've had a diablo tank in the past, type that fills the whole space with no toolbox, but couldn't use the lever as the tap was too close to the frame. Unless someone does different lengths for the on off lever.

The Diablo tank is the best, just cut the lever down, it's an easy 2 minute job.vicvega wrote:Cheers m8, thats the info. I bought one off them and it's been fine, mine's the one with the seam right around the middle, steel and powder coated grey, about 50 odd quid, with postage etc...I think it was about 96 GBP all in. I would like the Diablo if I weren't so tight. For my next scoot I've got one of those modified butty box and original tank numbers, A few I know who has them give them good reports. I don't know where you can get them tho, mines second hand off Fleabay. Hope this helps
had a saigon 11ltr tank for a few years never had any trouble just make sure you clean it out or better still petseal it as well
You've obviously not heard that Saigon Scooter Centre has closed down.

Watch the threaded part where the tap screws on. I've had two split there.
