It is, not sure if Mark has tried a lighter one yet, was thinking about taking some off mine.

Any more feedback or news on these Electrex set ups? I see they're out of stock at MB?

J1MS, is this the set up John has on his Series 2? Paul

Two different versions of the Three phase one early, which is on my GP... One later version, with the flywheel design revised (Yet to be fitted)... both weigh Approx 1.9 KG... plus the weight of the plastic or alloy fan... The inertia is a little less than on a Standard flywheel as the rotating mass is a little more centered... If it was on one of my TS1's, I would want about 0.4 kg of weight removed...
As far as I know (From what John told me) he has the later version with a raised section for the pick up, with a three phase stator wound for single phase...

When are the BGM ignitions due? There has been talks of prototypes over on the GSF for a while.

Interested in the MB ones too--but they have been out of stock for a while. Are they fixed or variable?
