What's the minimum acceptable frame clearance on a TS1 inlet manifold? I have LTH manifold with Yamaha block and 5mm packer in conjunction with a protech shock, I've managed to gain about 1mm with the aid of a Dremmel but loathed to remove any more. Is 1mm going to cause me any problems or is it passable?

Offset cones give you about 5mm more.

Use 2 stage boysens, bin the reed stops and loose the 5mm packer. Simples!

Oh, and I forgot, use two gaskets between the reed block and the cylinder.

use a shorter rear shock - R1 or similiar!

but it lowers the exhaust - ground clearance....

I'm sure Matthew has done may 000's of trouble free miles with this set-up plus V-Force don't have stops either.

Does the performance improve without the stops Matt?

Are you sure
Why would I change my purpose built Protech shock for a made to suit motorcycle shock used in a totally different manner that is known to be flawed? BTW the shock is 300mm long, same as the R1 I believe.
