[quote="sydduckett"]I was told that this was a problem with the RB kit as supplied by AF, so ended up getting the kit via Taffspeed. they supplied there own semi-race crank which i belive is the same as the AF version apart from the webbing? I also believe it started life as an indian part but im not that clued up on this sorta thing...

I could be reading this wrong but........where do you think Taffs get RB kits from?

As in, I brought the rb kit via taffspeed minus the AF crank and then used a taffspeed equivalant......

Thought i should post an update to this.
Well the kit and crank were posted back to AF, via Readspeed (from where i purchased it)
The upshot is that they have agreed to exchange the lot. :D
They are just waiting for some new cranks from italy.
Should have it all the end of next week :bouncyeng:
So cant grumble at that.

They get them from AF.

I bought an RB22 kit from my local dealer, Retroscooters. I sent it to Taffspeed to get it tuned, and the first thing they did was replace it with another one from AF. From what Ian told me, he was at the shop, and chose the one he wanted. No idea what criteria he used for the choice.
