Just came across this a very late GP 150. First registered in England in September 1971 and last on the road in 1979 apart from a paint job sometimes in the 70,s completley untouched. The motor still runs it six volt DC system and is in great running order. The motor is running all its original gear and has had nothing replaced. The thing i'm trying to find out is it one of the very last, while i know there were lambrettas registered after the factory shut in May 71 the frame number is what confuses me. According to the records that are available the last GP 150 was numbered 220,049 this one is 221,327 some 1250 later. It is definatley a late model with plastic horn grill etc so fits in to the year but no-one seems to be able to help on the frame number. Has anyone out there got a later one or does anyone know anything about late models like this any info welcome.By the way it drives fantastic no wonder the Lambretta was the best selling scooter ever.

Never mind that, what about the TV series 2 next to it. How much for that bad boy!
I don't want to keep up with modern traffic. I want to hoon past it, preferably on one wheel!

posted the stuff in another topic:
get some "owatrol oil" to conserve the metalwork on the tv & the gp.
please do not respray them, they are very nice like this.
for the frame-n°, i will check mine, as i also have a very very late one..
sth strange i saw was recently an original untouched (ex-dealers bike) dl200 electronic,-
it was a late one with all stuff in black plastic but grey toolbox...

ps: my black plastic tankflap is broken. are indian ones ok or is the difference too obvious and i should go for a used / nos one ?
