Lofty and Johnny,

I do not deny that these ports need work, and I have certainly re-angled the trannies on my barrel, but at least they are relatively easy to change.

I'll let you carry on with the iron barrels, Johnny, but for me, the ali is so much easier to port (though I do have an iron 240 to port over the winter...)

but from the point of veiw that gsvespa just wants a bit more power over stock, then buying the ally one and having it reworked would cost more that say an asso 62mm piston, rebore and a little fettling, dont get me wrong id go for an ally kit and do as much as i could, but i suppose im looking from a cost point of view, i dont have the means or the know how to alter transfers on the barrel wall, but good gains can be had with what gsvespa already has with little fuss and minimum outlay

good luck with the iron 240, you gonna post some pics ?
