....scoot sailed thru mot last monday so got home & took off my af & put back on my af VW reverse cone neighbour annoyer pipe.....went for a 20 min ride to a pub for an hour stop...on the way back when I dropped the revs off at a junction or roundabout the bike wanted to shut down so I had to keep revving the bike up when the need to stop arose. Got home & cleaned the carb although there was no evidence of starvation due to a dirty/clogged filter, but blew the jets anyway. Started the bike up & repeated a similar journey followed by an hour stop today & the problem arose again. I'm going to check the carb again but I have a nagging doubt its something else. Any ideas?

Air leak? Have you checked exhaust manifold for signs of black gunge? Or, was the scoot jetted to the previous exhaust?
