I bought conversion wiring loom from Cambridge Lambretta and I'm not quite sure how to fit it. It came without any diagrams and when I asked for them they didn't want to e-mail them for some lame excuses.
I'm trying to install it to SX 200 frame without battery or any other unneccesary accessories. There are differences to original loom and I'm little bit confused how to connect it. Is there any online source for that kind of loom or can anyone tell me which wires go to which positions?
I have figured out the basic lines of connections (two wires to rear/stop-light, one to CDI, one to regulator, two to stop light switch and three to headlight thing) but I have no idea about the details so any help would be appreciated. I'm very curious about the horn as there are no wires in loom for that.
Thanks!

re the horn, take a live down from the the bulb holder on [usually brown] wire that brings the power up from the regulator to one side; the other side goes to the handlebar switch which earths it to complete the circuit.
Some ignition switches have a longer wire spurring off the live feed into the igntion switch that can be used to run down to the horn.
What ignition switch have you got ?

Rakki,
2 wires to rear light -pink (runs from rear brake switch to rear light)
- black (runs from headset to rear light)
Rear brake switch - brown (from regulator), to this switch then upto headset
- pink (the already mentioned above)
CDI - green (ignition earthing circuit)) runs upto headset (tobe connected to switch or kill button)
Regulator - brown (lighting circuit)
headset - brown ( other end of lighting circuit)
- green (other end of earthing circuit)
- black (other end of rear light circuit)
Colours may not be the same but this should help you out........or confuse you even further

Thanks for advice soullad & byron I'll try that later today when I go to garage.
Any idea why they didn't bother to put that brown wire (from light circuit to horn) to that loom?
Right now I have original SX 200 ignition switch (originally battery model if that does matter).

Didn't make a difference to mine, I also did away with the battery.rakki wrote:
