Li150 seat stuck closed!

Hi Folks,

I’ve got a Li150 s3 with the long seat and it seems to be stuck closed!! It doesn’t have a lock or anything but there is some kind of a spring latch, a spring-loaded rod that can go into a latch. Can’t seem I figure out how to release it!!

Any advice?

You do know about pressing the back edge of the seat to release the catch ???

Hahahah. I did not!!! In fact when I got the bike the seat didn’t really latch and since the latch button is hidden by the seat cover I assumed it wasn’t really supposed to latch. Got it!!

Ideally there should be a plastic 'button' on the end of the catch mechanism, to protect the seat cover (and make pressing it easier)
