While my engine is stripped I'm going to give my exhaust some TLC, what temperatures can I expect a JL pipe to get to on an Imola? The reason I ask is that I want to blast and paint it... PJ1 seems to be the best as regards temperature but only comes in matt black, I'd prefer something shiny but they have lower temperature thresholds.
Thanks

What condition is your exhaust 'cos you could always get it ceramic coated.
I used these £110 delivered, exhaust was brand new so could be a tad dearer if they need to blast it.

I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
For those who don't, no explantion is possible.

I have had best results from B&Q BBQ paint, but it only comes in matt black...
you painting the header too ? I'm not aware of any spray paint that has lasted there. As red says, get it professionally coated for a longer term fix

both of those are good ska but try to get satin if you can. matt ends up looking grubby like a dirty blackboard and gloss shows every imperfection.
satin looks like new rubber and seems to look new for ever
