sounds like its binding on the key which is pushing it to one side.....but then he is spanish so you cant rule out anything....they chase bulls about

try fitting the flywheel with no key and kick it over. if it spins streight then the key is possibly too big.

1-I will try give it a kick without the flywheel to see if that is ok and I get no "clonk" sound. The engine has had an overhawl 500 miles ago, and it has been trouble free. I doubt the flywheel got out of line, since it was trued and the pin and bearing got replaced.

2-I will try stick it without the woodruff key.

3-I have a new woodruff key so if it is ok without it, then I will try the new woodruff key.

P.S: We chase the bulls out, but still, we manage to cook good tortilla de patatas ;)

Ok boys, Cezeta, you where bang on the problem. The woodruff key I was using was out of an Li series 2 spanish crank (which is the same as a s1 crank) I took it out and sure as s**t didn't fit. So I had a new woodruff key, took it, tried it... BANG! There you go, perfect fit, so I placed the flywheel back on with the new woodruff key and problem was solved. Gone a couple of rides round the block and it seems sorted.

THANK YOU ALL!!!

P.S: Nick, I am expecting an adress, I got something to send you... PRONTO!!!!!
