Looking for some assistance with the wiring at the headset end. In as simple terms as possible as I have no idea when it comes to elctrics.
I have an Li150 with Mugello 186 kit. No accessories and no battery. It has a 12V conversion. I have fitted a MB simple loom which has 3 wires going to the headset (red, black & green). I have also fitted a Casa light / horn switch which has (red, blue, double brown, grey, yellow and black) also has a breakout for the horn. Then there is the speedo bulb wire and the kill switch wire. The headlight junction box is the Scootopia grey square type bulb holder. I have looked at several diagrams and drawing but none of them match the colour wires I have exactly.
Looking at the junction box there are 2 single connectors top either side (white & yellow). 3 grey connectors linked left side, 2 main bulb connectors centre, 3 black connectors linked right side, 2 brown linked left side, 2 pink linked right side, 2 orange linked left side and 2 green linked right side.
Can somebody please. please, please, tell me which wire goes which colours on the junction box.
CDI unit, regulator / rectifier, rear light and brake pedal all done following the MB drawing.
Wiring help
Are we talking the grey plastic CEV headlight junction box?
No key-switch?
What are the colours of the wires from the stator?

Are you sure it has a red rather than a purple wire going to the headset. The MB loom usually has a red wire from the regulator to one side of the brake light switch and from there its linked to the purple wire.

The trouble is that he is using an MB type simplified wiring loom and the wires are a different colour from the Beedspeed wiring diagram.garry inglis wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 3:30 pm And afterthought put the two browns and purple in the three Gray holes as they need to be together don't worry that they are not in the Brown holes but they need to be togethet
