Fork links

Are series 3 fork links different to series 2 fork links?
Fitted a scootrs disc brake yesterday and the locating lug does not sit fully home. Filling me with no confidence whatsoever.
I am contemplating removing the forks again and fitting new links.
Will gp links fit?
Or should i buy some new remade ones with damper lugs attached.

Reading that my links must be curved differently.
I shall drop the forks out and buy new links.
Two steps forward and one step back.
Felt pissed off last night. Fooking thing.

Before you take the links out,if I were you I'd try the original front hub.If the links fit ok then its the disc brake thats at fault not the links.

Yeah am at work.
Chuntering away to myself.
I work outdoors doing marquees...fab in all this snow!!!
Come to the conclusion of plan b.
Try the original hub tonight or when i get chance.
If it fits ok. Which i seem to think it does.
Strip it. Get it painted and rebuild and go drum brake.
Are s2 drums thought of as been weaker or stronger on the link attachment point.
Wondering if i can reverse pull brake it?

I think i shall try it.
See how i get on.
Carnt face a fork removal.
I can always try the disc brake in my s3. If it fits better i may eventually fit it.

Old hub back on.
A perfect fit.

Am glad this fits. I was thinking i had rebuilt the forks incorrectly.
