There'll be loads - with probably all the available kits. But people will have posted about them before, and it does get a bit tedious doing the copy/paste on already overtalked topics.Castoralloy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2018 8:28 pm Is there any people on the forum that as done many mile on a gt kit ??
Have a quick go with the search function, there'll be heaps of first hand experiences.
There's only so many times people can be assed to type the same answers to the same questions.

Not had a gt240 but had a gt186 which was great nice and torquey good fuel consumption ran with a 30mm carb and a taff copy expansion. Top end was good for 70mph and would sit at 60plus all day.
I have standard ts1 and a chalkie tuned TS230. They both suit my riding the standard is a great all rounder and the 230 is all about fun.
Use the search facility read loads and try your hardest to narrow it down. It’s a mine field. I would say try some mates scoots to see what you think and lastly what ever £££’s you have in mind to spend double it.

I've done over 5k miles on a GT200 kit and cannot sing it's praises enough. There are quite a few who now have the GT240 variant and I'm sure can provide some feedback. I know that Coaster on here did the Euro in Adria with a GT240
Also done over 5K with my GT200. Best kit I've ever run
