I remember my mate getting one built at Taffspeed in 92. It went wrong one day and said to me "you fix and and you can have a blast on it"
Never fixed something in such short time,turned out to be the needle clip had fallen off but in top of the slide. The smile on my face when I returned the scoot to him!! Was gutted to jump back on my T5. 2yrs later I had one though.
