been rebuilt recently? Sure the smoke is blue and not white? what does it smell like?

Blue colour indicates its either mix or oil residue following a rebuild. What 2T oil are you using?

Hi Chris, thanks for replying, had another look, it's mainly white smoke, The engine still hasn't been "run-in", done about 300 miles, i use EXOL 2 STROKE ENGINE OIL. It just smells like normal 2 Stroke fumes.

if its a blown oil seal then the smell will tell you! What does it smell like?

Check the level of your gearbox oil. If it's low you could have found where it's going.............

Shove a rag over the exhaust whilst it's ticking over and block the exit. If it runs then probably the drive side.oil seal blown. If it shudders to a halt then probably not the drive side oil seal.
