contemplating the current chopper project, thought that a shorter rear shock might be a nice idea. so can u shorten a shocker by say 10cm (haven´t measured it out yet - just a figure) ? has anybody maybe used a shock off another mopped that is shorter and can be made to fit a lambretta ?

r1 shocks are 300mm long you can adapt anything to fit but the bumpstop is the limiting factor you need some travel as well ot the scoot will bounce around alot

true. u could grind the engine bumper off though. guess u would still need a very stiff shock, around 260-270mm long should work.
