Hi all,
After being hit by a car ( Dickhead on the phone ) the front end of my son in laws Lammy took quite an impact. One of them being an LTH anti drive brake. The spindle was really bent causing it to spin out of true. so I ordered a new one and it still has a bit of a wobble. I've completely stripped the brake apart and have each part on a completely flat sheet of aluminium and everything seems to be flat and in shape. As the bearings took a lot of the impact and somehow collapsed or been pushed out of alinement? They seemed to be sitting properly when I took everything apart. It's an excellent brake and cost me a small fortune so I'm hoping it's just the bearings because I can't see what else it could be. Any advice gratefully received. Pete.

Some photos might help Pete, is it the hub wobbling or the wheel?

The wheel is scrap Coaster it's completely ruined. It was a Scootrs tubeless and they are as soft as cheese anyway. The hub spins out of true without a wheel fitted it's not by much but is still visible to the eye. I'm painting a new mudguard and forks today (well 2nd hand off a mate.) I'll try and post a video later. Thanks for your reply.

As you can see it's out of true.

That actually cracked me up.... Good thing if it's only the hub that's kaput it's only a machined down standard one. I happen to have a spare hub and a man that can machine it for me. The rest of the brake components are ok. Thanks fellas.
