RB20 spitting fuel....everywhere

34 is too big for a RB20 as my man Garry has said get a 30. And get it jetted properly.

I'm using a Dellorto 30mm VHSH on my RB20 and there is close to no fuel spit back. I'd say it's the size of your carb that's the problem.

Just back from hols and been reading the replies, I did think that a reed motor was more efficient and shouldn't spit fuel but will try a 30mm and see how it goes, thank for the advice

See if a mate has 30mm roughly jetted to suit that you could borrow. It will at least prove or disprove its a carb size issue.

I think I'm right in saying the the BSSO production class RB20 engines all have to use the 30mm VHSH, so it's obviously suited to the kit.
