Can anyone provide a link to the exhaust test carried out a while back by Sticky? I've had a good look around but can't find anything, cheers.

If it was from Scootering I doubt you'll find it on the web?Scooterdude wrote:Can anyone provide a link to the exhaust test carried out a while back by Sticky? I've had a good look around but can't find anything, cheers.

Sticky has carried out lots of exhaust comparison tests in the past. You need to be more specific, SD. Start by telling us whether it was for a Vespa or a Lambretta.
I understand that Scootering has an excellent archive that allows you to order back-issues.

I believe it was in the March 2011 edition the NK road pipe was considered the 'best all round performer'. It made slightly less power than the Fran race but slightly more torque.
I saw the article posted on a forum recently but can't remember which one.

It was an exhaust test just for TS1 kits.
Top power was Franspeed Race, Top torque was ADS3, and best all round pipe was NK mid range / rally pipe.
Worst pipe was ScootRS.
Horses for courses rally.

FYI - Sticky no longer has a Scooterotica forum account, however, if you have any questions for him he can be contacted at ScooterLab.UK
