Stator Help

Stators are fine but, as outlined in Sticky's, the flywheels are junk! I've had a couple of these, running one for some time on a DL150 that I bought and rode back from Italy, and they tend to work OK until the centre boss of the flywheel works loose and allows independent movement, throwing out your timing and suggesting that it will fail at some stage.

^ Surely Adam, at the point the boss is not tight to the rest of the flywheel it has failed, not that it will :roll: Simon. ;)

But on the other hand its survived 50 years, if you are not going to fit it to a TS1 and want to return a 125 or 150 to points what the hell. It looks tidy enough

True but they don't suddenly stop working, they simply don't work very well. As such, they still provide ignition and lighting so haven't 100% 'failed'... but they've failed to do it accurately, which is as good as failure!

I guess that this is more an issue of define 'failure'.

Either way... they're crap :lol:
