I'm in need of a replacement for my damaged original chrome surround. Large piece scuffed off on the oroginal. Bought a replacement new one about 15 years ago from Chambers but it was not a good fit. Ended up using the original . Can you get better perfect fit remade ones nowadays ? If so who sells them ? Cheers

Not an SX, no. Although the GP rim fits straight out of the bag, so I would expect similarly high standards with their SX one.

I bought the scootopia version for my TV and the fit was terrible, the holes were off
still haven't found a decent replacement and tried 4 different ones

Really? I'm surprised by that. I think they test their parts for fit on original items. Yours is an original part I take it?

I have bought numerous rims over the years and am yet to come across another one that fits like the original

Even went down the Casa route no where near! Went straight back to the dealer.

Best of luck in your quest.

Not much joy then. I thought Casa would be spot on.
