Since I've chopped the frame hoop off a GP, how can I operate the choke on a SH2/22 carburettor? Is there a choke lever that fits onto the carb, or are there any other suggestions?
Many thanks

I used a flip up one years ago- don't know where I got it but it worked just fine.

Rimini Lambretta will be able to supply you with a purpose designed Dellorto 'twist' top mechanism that fits straight to the existing choke thread of the standard carb. I use one on my Vega's standard 20mm as I didn't have the correct Vega type 20mm body (I later bought one + a NOS alloy flip choke from Nigel Cox, which broke the VERY FIRST time I used it!).
I understand that this Dellorto part may have been standard choke fitment for a different or older carb model but is perfect for use on any SIII carb.

Not sure that this example is the correct size so certainly don't buy one from this link, at least not without confirming it fits first (!), but I wanted to show you a photo of what you're looking for...

I considered a thumb choke but would prefer to reduce the number of cables. I'm thinking about mounting the traditional choke lever somewhere else but a flip up lever would be best - how do you what fits?!!
