If you search my old posts about my GT186, you'll see I reckon 13 or 14 miles per litre - phbh 30 with one of the first bgm/MB clubmans.

I seem to recollect a mate saying he was 72mph on his GPS when I was riding with him and not actually at WOT.

I've got both a GT186 and a GT200 both with phbh 30, the GT200 with a BGM clubman (58/107 crank, Li150 17/46) and the GT186 (60/110 crank, Li150 16/46) with Franspeed Race. Different animals completely due to the pipes, but both will cruise at 60-65 comfortably.

I get around 12 miles to a litre, but compared to some this is a little low but mine are running slightly rich as I still haven't got round to getting them dyno'd despite putting several thousand miles on both of them

Thanks Storkfoot and Burnside for the mpg info. I'm changing from my 190 Suzuki conversion with 26mm PHBH, BGM Clubman and 60/107 crank that is great kit apart from only 35-40ish mpg / 9mpltr. 50-55 was what I was hoping for with the GT so sounds promising.

Cheers, Mark

Top speed I have achieved so far was 79.2 on GPS and that was full loaded with rally gear, felt like it would break 80 but not by much. Couldn't tell you the revs as I don't have a rev counter....that needs to be on the to do list

I had one reed petal crack on the GT200 kit after about 2k miles but since then have doubled them up on both and no issues

I had reed petals go & fragments blocked my exhaust. I rodded the pipe through, refitted it & ran first go after doubling up. For a week. Conked out again last tuesday. Removed reed block, all ok, run out of time & left it. Now I've got to put the reed block back in, I can't recall which way the doubled up petals go. Towards the front of the scooter or back?
