Thinking of changing my standard seat to something more comfy, wondering what is out there and what peoples experienced are?

Comfort on a Lambretta is just a state of mind.In my experience, there all uncomfortable, its just that some are more comfortable than others. :)

I to have been looking at a better seat for comfort On my classic s3 as the new one I bought from Beedspeed is just pure torture to be honest: options are buy a Pegusus flat base which are suppose to be extremely comfy but cost between £350-£550 so not really an option, fit a GP electronic seat or a TSR hinged ancilotti. What I've come up with is to get a Giuliari (the kind fitted to TV175) and remove the cover, strip out all the springs etc, weld in a flat base and build up with foam to the correct shape then refit the cover. No reason why you couldn't do the same thing with yours (a nice sharp bread knife is ideal for shaping the foam btw) .

+1 picked one up on *bay 2nd hand for less than £50 for one of the neoprene type.Makes the longer distances a lot more bearable.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

no it's still in the "development stage" yet but will let you know how it progresses.
