Remade Italian Style GP Headset Quality

I’m after a new Italian Headset for my GP, does anyone know what the aluminium is like underneath the primer on the remade ones?
Are they sandcast or pressure moulded?
I want to get it polished, engraved and plated so I need to know if the aluminium is good enough for that.

I’ve also noticed a huge price difference between the shops selling them, starting off at 140 quid right up to nearly 200, anyone know if they’re all from the same supplier or are there more versions available?

On a set of GP drops I had blasted the bare metal is like an Aero chocolate bar. I'm not sure if they are manufactured by the same people but I'd be surprised if these are any different.
