Is the tang bent on the float causing the fuel to flood out before the float needle seats in the float valve.Or did you forget to fit the fibre washer ?

The tang was bent on the original float causing just that issue (possible), bent the tang back up and it made it happen less but t still happens so I replaced the float entirely

fibre washer fitted :( (in fact new float valve seat as well and I double checked it).

Been mulling this over and I have a plan!

I'm going to fit the 25 phbf carb I have and see if I get the same issue, a bit of pain in the ass but it will save me buying something I dont need and I am in no rush now as summer is nearly gone :(

If the bhbf works I will sack the BHBH and buy that 24mm for my Vespa.

I'll be back with an update in about 2 months once I've swapped the carbs over :D
