Hello
After a bit of advice I have a dellorto sh1/20 carb on my GT200 and the atomiser is loose, I can turn it with my fingers whilst in situ and it will neither tighten or come out, im guessing the threads in the carb are shot
So any ideas how I might get it out?
Can the carb have new threads cut in it or is it shot?
Will this issue have a bearing on the ability of the carb to do its job?

Does sound knackered doesn't it? Maybe if you pull hard and unscrew it you might catch a bit of thread, but I wouldn't count on using it after that. Pity. I don't know of any practical way of saving it. In fact I don't know of anybody that's even tried.

If it wasn't a carb I would consider JB Auto weld or similar to hold it in there and start unwinding it as it is close to setting thus fabricating a thread.
