Could someone confirm that a 48 pilot jet is richer than the standard fitted 45

Yes, it 'should' be. However, do note that many of the Jetex jets are 'all over the place' and you cannot trust them to be correctly sized. I've previously ordered Dellorto jets but been sent Jetex (to fit Dellorto) and then found them to be very poorly made and cause more confusion than help.

If you have a Dellorto 45 and 48 then yes, the 48 will be richer than the 45. However, a Jetex 48 might be weaker, the same or richer... and quite different to another Jetex 48!!
